"In 1999 I decided to purchase my life-long favourite car, the BMW 635csi. I had heard through a friend that Ross Lamb at BM workshop in Grey Lynn was the man I needed to get decent advice from before I purchased one. I still recall Ross patiently listening and talking to me for 15-20 minutes on what I should expect from purchasing a 635csi (when he should have been probably working on a customer’s car). 8 months later, and after Ross had inspected a few for me, I got my dream 1989 635csi highline. He and his guys have exceptional product knowledge and know all the intricacies of BMW systems including electrics, which means their diagnosis is extremely accurate. They also pay keen attention to detail – I’ve never had to take my vehicle back after a service and I appreciate that preventative maintenance is taken into account. Ross will always advise on something he thinks will need attention in the future and he provides a range of options for dealing with it. Finally, I’ve never had to question his charges, which are excellent value for money. But what impresses me most is that Ross and his lads don’t just do a job.
